- We strive to use materials that when combined result in the longest possible service life.
- We recognize that a long service life is a fundamental contributor to sustainability.
- We use Forest Stewardship Council approved timbers that are sustainably and ethically sourced.
- We use carefully selected, very durable, high strength timbers for our yurt tent frame components, whenever possible. These are rated higher than NZ number one framing timber.
- Our yurts are designed to allow easy replacement of components while most of the yurt remains in an assembled state. Including the frame members.
- our yurts easily assembled using our instruction manual and disassemble into components which require only 1 or 2 people to lift. They can be pitched on a deck, transportable floor, earth or concrete floor, or on a ground sheet depending on your needs and budget.
